Norview got a easy pass to the state finals. There are 4 teams in the( 804) 5A who would have beat them by 10 Henrico beat them 3 time,L.C bird,Highland Spring and Deep run and maybe Matoaca.Come on man as Chris Carter would say VHSL Get it right Marshall vs George Wythe 2014.If the two best team are from the same area let them play

You're blaming the wrong people.....

Yes the VHSL could mandate a standard format for all conferences and regions so in that respect they can share part of the blame. However, the actual power for determining formats lies with the individual regions and conferences so if you want to give someone grief you really need to look to the administrators within the region and conference that vote for a particular format. A lot of the region administrators vote to guarantee slots(i.e. a reduced number) as opposed to rolling the dice which could give them an all or nothing scenario.

Re: You're blaming the wrong people.....

Let's go back to the old regional format with 2 team from the same region moving on to states with a chance to win a state title
What basketball fan would not want to see a Henrico vs. Deep run,Highland Spring or a LC Bird finals ,Other administrators got it right
