The Indians have their best squad in decades and will be looking to showcase their offensive power versus the Greyhounds. Playing on Thursday just may lighten up the crowd just enough to make the visitors comfortable. If quarterback Jayden White can avoid a slow start and convert first downs early this could get interesting. Alvin Hicks will need a big night or the ride home will feel low coming from High Street.

BRUNSWICK (5-5) at GREENSVILLE COUNTY (8-2)
These two just met last Thursday and will go at it again but this time in Emporia. Brunswick has improved significantly since the beginning of the season and has the ability to flip this rivalry match up. The Eagles will need to keep Bulldogs defense off balance with great play from standout sophomore Odell Turner. Turnovers will be the deciding factor in this one.

CLASS 1A
NORTHAMPTON (5-5) at KING & QUEEN CENTRAL (8-2)
The Tigers will be using these games to correct the mistakes that have led to 2 tough losses for their veteran squad. Malik Holmes will try to get the offense back in high gear versus the Yellow Jackets. Northampton will be looking for a chance to have some momentum to pull off an upset but Central has too much firepower to hold in this one.
