Friday night was the time for many teams to show that they were for real while others would have opportunities to make their mark as the warm weather hasn't stopped many teams for planning about the post season. Those thoughts fueled some squads while others thought the past performances would spell the same results but they would be wrong. This Friday has now tossed up the preseason favorites in a surprise position.

The Indians answered many questions Friday night and delivered on the threat of knocking off the Trojans dominance of the Northern Neck. Northumberland pull away from 13-8 halftime advantage to 27-8 before Trojans answered again late. Now Northumberland control their own destiny going forward.

The Dragons following their opening drive score by Ra'sean Coates, got a fumble return by Tiyshoune Thomas, and a pick six by Dontavious Wilson to make it 22-0 in the 1st. Park View called turned down the flames while up 36-0 with more the 5 minutes left in the 2nd. Coastes added another score along with Joshua Jones in the light night work.

The Dukes were determined to get the victory Friday night putting a damper on the Cougars festive homecoming evening. Malik Lee took the spotlight catching 2 touchdowns for Gage Griffin, rushing for a score, and blazing a kick-off back for score. Windsor (2-4) will now join Sussex Central needing an upset to jump into the top 8 over the next 4 contest.
