Coach Todd Jones has gotten Essex back to the top spot of Region A again.

Tim Johnson also hit paydirt with a 15 yard yard touchdown run. The top wide receiver in the Region A Terrell Hundley scored from a pass from Ashton Ashlock. Up 33-14, King William saw their lead shrink to 33-26 with less than 3 minutes to play when a pick six by Jamir Johnson to seal the deal. Coach Dee Walton gets a huge win that puts the Eagles in the title conversation.

Greensville County snapped several decades of losing to Sussex Central by beating the Tigers in their house. The Eagles are flying under the radar by many but have the talent and speed to cause major problems from teams like Poquoson and Goochland. Sussex Central struggled versus the 7+ man box attack the Eagles deployed. The 2-point conversion on a fumble return by Rikarie Tucker for a touchdown would be the difference in the end.

GC- Seaborn 17-yard run (Garner run)
SC- Edmond 67-yard run (Hatch run)
SC- Clark 53-yard run (run failed)
GC- Anderson 6-yard run (Simmons run)
GC-Simmons 1-yard run (run failed)
SC- Hill 49-yard run (run failed)
GC- Tucker 55-yard fumble return (Garner run)
SC- Edmond 1-yard run (Edmond run)

Last that checked last night franklin was up 37-0 in the second half don't know what the final score

Per the Daily Press...

Franklin 43, Windsor 6: Tyvon Carr scored two touchdowns and the Broncos (3-6) compiled 383 yards rushing as they ran over Windsor (0-9).

Oddly enough though - the AP had put out Windsor 38-13. Think it got reported to them wrong.
