Cregger Center @ Roanoke College is a LEGIT place to play a high school game
No they were not! And they remind me a lot PM team as Freshman, they will be a force to be reckoned with in next several years

Honaker was very solid but doesn't remind me of the freshman at PM.
They are however a good young team that will have their shot over next couple of years. They need a leader at guard play to take that next step. But they are certainly close.
I actually think PH has a little more upside moving forward. They lack on depth though and their big man at PH needs to get stronger so she can defend the big man better for Honaker
Both teams will have a shot though if they can handle GW. which will be a tough task.

I have to agree with you there. While I do believe that Honaker and PH are really good teams and have most if not all coming bck I just think GW will be a tough task for those teams. GW has everyone returning and with there guard play that they have they will be a force to be reckoned with. GW is probably a heavy favorite right now in my opinion
I personally don’t see Honaker or PH handling GW next year. GW has a much better defense IMO.
Don’t think Honaker played GW this year? Also there is 1 team left in the west and they aren’t from the Southwest.

There are two teams from SWVA playing for a state title, Wise and Eastside.

I’m just yanking your chain. Good luck to all the west teams playing. PM beat Central earlier in the year and I would be happy to see Surry go home runner up in both games today. Lol
Eastside led for most of the game but just could not close it out. Shame, losing two years in a row inn the title game when they were at least as good as the opponent.
