Riverheads and Buffalo Gap will carry the torch for Region B in Friday's softball state semi-finals. They will be tangling with the top two teams from Region C as the Bison will play Auburn at 10:00 AM and Riverheads will square off against Fort Chiswell at 1:00. The two winners will then play in the state final on Saturday at 1:00.
Good luck to our local girls and hopefully they will make the county and the region proud. Of course the other two teams will be equally focused on representing their region in the best possible fashion. At this point, the weather sounds great for Friday but maybe not so much for Saturday.
