On July 16th 2015 Coach Mark Fischer left Arkansas headed to Louisa. Mark and his wife have spent many weeks in Arkansas. Making 4-6 different trips and staying anywhere from 3 weeks to 7 weeks at a time. Many slogans have been used. Fist up 4 FISH, RTI80 "Run Through it 80" 80 was his football # at Concord. But the power of PRAYER has been answered. This post is with Coach Fischer blessing. Coach does not get on Virginia Preps. Coach asked me to send out a huge thank you for everyone's prayers and positive vibes. Coach Fischer made it back to Louisa so he could rejoin his coaching staff, players and friends. Mark came home with some GREAT news he is cancer free. Mark is getting stronger everyday he enjoyed the week with his team and is ready to get the Jimmy's and Joe's workings. Coach states he still has Chemo treatments and has maintenance that needs to be completed. Thank you all from The Lion Nation! Now Let the season begin.
