At the conclusion of the Varsity boys tournament championship game, the 2018-2019 All-Metro Conference Varsity boys basketball team will be named.
Each Metro Conference school selects one boy from their respective school to receive the Metro Conference Scholar/Athlete Award. To qualify for this prestigious award, the selectee must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or better and have participated in at least two sports in the Spring of 2018, the Fall of 2018 or the Winter of 2018-2019 athletic season.
The last award to be given will be the Sportsmanship Award. Each member school of the Metro Conference will vote for another Metro Conference school that displays the best sportsmanship during the Spring of 2018, the Fall of 2018 and the 2018-2019 Winter athletic seasons.
