Recruiting Nugget North Cross Players Commit

North Cross School recently announced several commitments and signings. Nariq Bailey was the 1st to commit as he signed to play at Randolph Macon College. Dakota Rose and Tyler Slash both committed to Concord University, and Maurice Garrison committed to Hampden-Sydney College.

Slash earned 1st team All-State as a receiver while Dakota Rose and Nariq Bailey earned 1st team All-State at linebacker and defensive back respectively. Garrison led the team with 1430 total yards with his passing and rushing. Bailey and Slash combined for 13 total touchdowns while both picked off three passes on defense. Dakota Rose easily led the team with 104 total tackles.

The senior group help to lead the Raiders to a 30-13 record during the past four season including playoff appearances in three straight years.

"I am very excited to see a group of young men that have meant so much to the North Cross football program make their college decisions," Head Coach Stephen Alexander said. "I hope the qualities they have demonstrated over the last four years at North Cross will propel them to success at the next level, on and off the field."
