Orlina dominated and displayed his full offensive arsenal scoring on layups, dunks, pull-up jumpers and from long range with the three ball. He found his teammates in the paint for easy baskets

"He's the best player in the State," Woodside coach Ed Huckaby without hesitation.

The Wolverines were never really threatened grabbing a 22-10 1st quarter lead after two straight baskets from junior point guard Devante Carter. Orlina scored the last six points of the 1st half to send Woodside to the locker room with a 45-28 lead.

Menchville tried to overcome the Wolverines decisive height advantage by shooting from behind the 3-point but they played much better in the 3rd quarter by taking better shots. Monarch senior Ken Turner got hot and scored 8 of his team high 17 points after the break. Menchville cut the lead to 56-45 with 2:23 to go in the 3rd quarter.

The Monarchs didn't get any closer.

Orlina converted a 3-point play to give Woodside a 62-47 lead and his triple early in the 4th quarter extended the lead to 19 points with six minutes to go. Woodside improved their record to 9-3.

Joining Orlina in double figures for Woodside was senior Jordan Forbes who had 14 points and Devante Carter who added 13 points. Daryl Barbour had 12 points and five boards for Menchville.
