No it was a part of the Rock The Ribbon event. The Roanoke Times only had the scores by quarter and no other stats

That’s if we can get an opponent in the district. Last weeks snow and opponents having Covid cases kept the boys out for a week. I was told they called around to schools in our district to move game to this week for teams that were ready to go before the second storm hits tomorrow but everyone declined. Lancaster has not played in over a week.

Ouch!!! That was a major breakdown. WP pretty much gave it away.

I think if you had watched the game live you may have had a slightly different opinion. The first quarter was a rubber match but from the second quarter on it was clearly Parry McCluers game to lose. Every time they’d stretch the lead out to 12-15 points WP would make a run to hang around. Foil calls and feee throws kept this game tight, as the referees were subpar all night. Had this been a well officiated game, it would’ve gotten out of hand much quicker.
