Based on the forecast that Wednesday will be by far the worst day for rain in the Valley, both Riverheads and Stuarts Draft have moved their Wednesday JV games one day ahead and will play instead on Tuesday. SD will host Waynesboro and Riverheads will travel to Parry McCluer. I assume their kickoffs will remain at 6:00
Possibly other schools around the state are taking the same steps so if you follow your school's JV program, be sure to check into it.
On the positive side, it looks as if the rain will clear out by sometime Thursday so Friday night varsity games will hopefully have nice weather. Not to mention Saturday's college openers.
