Performers of the week
It seems like every week in the Southside region, we have tons of players to choose from as top performers, but every week there is one guy that just goes nuts. That was Magna Vista's Jacqez Hairston.
Magna Vista RB Jacqez Hairston
In his team's 58-17 win over Tunstall, he had 22 carries. Roughly one out of every four carries resulted in a touchdown. Hairston had six TDs and he also averaged 14 yards a carry, finishing with an amazing 308 yards.
Goochland RB Jordan Jefferson
The talented Bulldog, who is also a skilled defender, had a big game as his team beat undefeated Buckingham 41-27. Jefferson had 176 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the game, but he also returned a punt. Another performance from JJ where he did it all.
Buckingham QB Leon Ragland
The dual-threat star had a fantastic game on the ground in the 41-27 loss to Goochland. Ragland had 175 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 16 carries.
