Team Takeover split a pair of games on Saturday to open the fourth session of the Nike EYBL in Minnesota. They first defeated California Supreme, 72-69 behind a sterling performance off the bench from Rivals150 forward Marcus Derrickson, a Georgetown commit and Paul VI product.

In the win, Derrickson finished with 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting and grabbed six rebounds. He was also stellar in a 58-53 loss to Team Texas Titans, posting 16 points and nine rebounds while converting all five of his free-throws, though shot only 5-of-14 from the field.

Other clear barometers for Takeover's success were guards Bryant Crawford and Josh Reaves, another highly recruited player from Paul VI. Crawford nearly recorded a triple-double with 13 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in the win, though in the loss had just one rebound and one assist, despite a higher point total (16). Meanwhile, Reaves made 5-of-7 shot attempts for 13 points with four assists in the victory compared to six points on 2-of-6 shooting in defeat.

Box Score - Team Takeover 72, California Supreme 69
