Virginia Preps tournament directory

Hi all,

As we did last year, Virginia Preps will be putting together a composite post-season tournament schedule. At this point, we are looking for any confirmed information on any regional tournaments ... dates, sites, times if known, what seeds are paired up.

We know none of the pairings are finalized, but if we can put together the basics, we'll be that far ahead once more concrete information is available.

We are also contacting tournament directors, but the VHSL winter directory only lists basketball directors for 16 of the 24 regions.

Mountain 7 District boys and girls tournaments are February 12-17:

Quarterfinals at higher seed
Semifinals and finals at regular season champion (boys at Gate City, girls could be at either Wise Central, Ridgeview or Abingdon)

Region 1D and 2D boys and girls tournaments are February 19-24:

Quarterfinals at higher seed
Semifinals and finals are at UVa-Wise

Not sure how the 1D bracket is set up, but 2D looks something like this:
