Westfield looked much better than at any point so far this season and played very well, outside of too many penalties that gave OAK a lot of help offensively, to take a 42-15 win over Oakton.

After the opening KO went out of bounds WF started the game on their 35 yard line. They moved to the Oakton 25 yard line when WF's Jenks broke through on a 25 yard run to put WF in front, 7-0 (Mattfeld XP) with 8:35 to play in the first quarter. OAK took the KO to their 30 yard line but failed to move the ball and punted the ball back to WF on the WF 35 yard line. WF also went three and out, but a short punt gave OAK great field position on the WF 44 yard line. After three plays OAK faced a 4th and 2 at the WF 36 yard line, but an illegal procedure penalty made it 4th and 6 and they quick kicked. WF started their next drive on the WF 25 yard line and moved to near midfield. Jenks rolled out to his left and was stripped of the ball, which OAK's Barber returned 45 yards for a TD. After Chi's XP the score was tied at 7 all with 11:47 to play in the first half. After a penalty on the KO WF started deep in their own territory at the 9 yard line. After reaching the WF 29 they punted the ball back to OAK at the OAK 41 yard line. OAK went on to advance to the WF 14 yard line where Toole's 4th and 3 pass fell incomplete. WF then put together an 86 yard drive and scored on a 13 yard Nelson run. willing his way into the end zone, at the 2:00 mark of the second quarter. On the XP attempt the snap was low and WF's Hamrick (the holder) scrambled to the right sideline before throwing a pass back against the flow of the play to WF's Monaghan for a successful 2XP and WF was in front 15-7. OAK's next drive lost considerable yardage after heavy WF pressure and a flag, and OAK ended up punting deep in their own half with just seconds left in the half.

OAK received the second half KO and started at their own 25 yard line. They move downfield to the WF 27 yard line where they faced a 4th and 4 but WF's Yaokouame tipped the pass and it fell incomplete. WF the scored again on a 73 yard drive when Nelson had a 28 yard run, pulling tacklers with him into the end zone, to extend the lead to 21-7 (XP blocked) at the 5:49 mark of the third quarter. On the ensuing KO OAK's Evans fumbled and WF's Ogando recovered the ball on the OAK 25 yard line. WF's FR QB Johnson then had runs of 9 yards, 15 yards, and 1 yard to score and WF was now up 28-7 (Mattfeld XP) with 4:50 remaining in the third quarter. OAK's next possession went three and out, followed by a WF three and out. OAK started their next possession on their own 38 yard line and would again reach the WF red zone where they faced a 4th and goal at the WF six yard line. On the 4th down play OAK's Toole was intercepted by WF's Anderson on the goal line and the ball was returned to the WF 12 yard line. WF quickly scored again, this time on a 38 yard Jenks run up the middle on 4th and 2, to extend the lead to 35-7 (Mattfeld XP) with 3:35 remaining in the game. OAK started their next possession on their own 20 yard line and behind several long Toole completions (and several WF defensive pass interference calls) reached the WF two yard line where Nick Toole hooked up with his younger brother, WR Noah, for a 2 yard TD pass followed by a successful 2XP pass to his brother again to cut the WF lead to 35-15 with 1:53 to play. WF then started at their 35 yard line and after reaching near midfield, WF's BAO scored on a 52 yard run to reach the final score of 42-15 (Mattfeld XP) with just 38 seconds remaining.
