Didn't see a thread so here goes. Sherando leads the all-time series 31-4, but some might be surprised it's that lopsided given the amount of times the games have come down to the wire. Despite Sherando winning 35-0 in the regular season, I could see this one being closer than most expect. The Warriors led 21-0 at the half but it easily could've been only a 7-0 advantage, as that was the score with around 30 seconds to go in the second quarter. James Wood roughed the holder on a field goal attempt, gifting the Warriors a TD opportunity which they took advantage of, and then the Colonels fumbled the ensuing kickoff which led to another Sherando TD.
James Wood's QB has a solid arm and can hit his targets, and in the first game against Sherando he was without his top two receivers. Not sure if they're back yet.
I would still rather be playing James Wood than Orange County, E.C. Glass, or Amherst, but this isn't going to be a cakewalk.
