My Personal Top Ten Week 2

It’s week one man lol we’ll cross that bridge if we get there no one is expected to be world beaters week one if they are hand them the title now
Now you all know there is no world in which Phoebus aren't the Lords of Virginia football. Let's all bow down to Phoebus and not say anything good about Dinwiddie, the team with the best player in the whole state.

My Personal Top Ten Week 2

Definitely not the same. We return starters from a state title team. I saw Dinwiddie film from last game no way they’re better than Phoebus….thats why I asked. But nothing but respect to Coach Mills and the program.

Week 1 Thoughts for 1A

As far as "Decent" skill guys, I would put CJ Kelly, Nytrell Ball, and Kenneth Maddison up there with any skill guys in the NNK/Region A. Defensively they may have two of the best MLB's (Chase Self & Kevin Fauntleroy) in the NNK/Region as well. But games are won on the field so on the gridiron is where they will have to earn their respect.

My Personal Top Ten Week 2

You could say that for a lot of programs. Dinwiddie returned 17 and have been playing with each other the same amount of time. The rankings are just people’s opinions at the time the only that that matters is the game when it’s played rankings get thrown out an anybody can beat anybody

I know this is the C4 board but…

Absolutely nobody is talking about Class 5, Region C.

Louisa has their 5 star RB, 4 star WR, and very good rising sophomore QB back.

Bird is LOADED…

Matoaca is LOADED and has a great deal of experience (defending regional champs).

Fleming, the Regional runner up, looks the part after Week 1.

PH has the athletes to make some noise..

Hermitage took one to the chin in Chesapeake but they have the athletes to win this region.

Godwin is sneaky good. Earl Kinney is gonna throw athletes behind that big offensive line and grind you out.

This region is up there with 4B as the best region in the state!

GW @ Dinwiddie

GW Eagles not what they used to be. Last year they got slaughtered by Magna Vista, who lost to William Byrd 31-7, and Byrd was slaughtered by Liberty Christian. Dinwiddie you are a good team but don’t drink too much Kool- Aid
Can’t compare scores… GW looks to be a lot better than they’ve been and the feeder program has a lot of talent so us Danville fans will take it.

No one talks about Class 3

@Ech8014 he is correct about us traveling football games everywhere. @DinwiddieProud forgot to mention since 2013 we have visited Handley vs. Sherando, Lynchburg City Stadium, Salem Stadium, James Monroe, Monacan, Huguenot, Manchester, Powhatan, Lake Taylor, Norcom, Lafayette/Jamestown, GW Danville, Massaponnax, PH-Ashland, Hanover, Atlee, Highland Springs, Green Run, Smithfield, Eastern View, Phoebus vs. Magna Vista in Hampton, Denbigh, North Stafford, Heritage-Lynchburg, Amelia, Botetourt, VA Beach Sports Complex and King George to name a few. Last year I also saw games at PH-Roanoke and William Fleming. I have Louisa, Bluefield, and Parry McCluer on my bucket list. I like old stadiums like Hopewell, so two of the above for the bill. if you want to see a beautiful place to see a football game visit Handley. Unbelievable setting.

LOL, I wish more folks from all classes would post. I’ll admit I don’t know as much about the teams away from the greater Richmond area and Tidewater, but I do keep up with who is playing good, and who is not. Other than a few folks in my immediate football group, when I say something about a game, say out in Southwest VA like Chilhowie or Honaker, people look at me like I’ve got three heads.

Bleeding Navy will tell you, he and I will go to a game almost anywhere, and at any Class level, when Dinwiddie is not playing. We have been to several Hopewell games on Dinwiddie’s by week. We went down and saw Magna Vista and Phoebus a few years ago. We have been to Appomattox and Rustburg. I can’t remember all the places. We’ve put a lot of miles on our vehicles over the years chasing good football. And if we both ever retire, we will go even more.

Here is a tip for everyone that loves high school football. Get in somebody’s pick-em pool. You find yourself researching teams so you will know who to pick, and in doing so, you learn a ton.
Thats pretty dope.
