Best player in the state is Gideon Davidson from LCA.
Now you all know there is no world in which Phoebus aren't the Lords of Virginia football. Let's all bow down to Phoebus and not say anything good about Dinwiddie, the team with the best player in the whole state. It’s week one man lol we’ll cross that bridge if we get there no one is expected to be world beaters week one if they are hand them the title now

We return starters from a state title team. I saw Dinwiddie film from last game no way they’re better than Phoebus….thats why I asked. But nothing but respect to Coach Mills and the program.

But nothing but respect to Coach Mills and the program. You could say that for a lot of programs. Dinwiddie returned 17 and have been playing with each other the same amount of time. The rankings are just people’s opinions at the time the only that that matters is the game when it’s played rankings get thrown out an anybody can beat anybody
Buckingham doesn't get into shootoutsIf Madison and Luray win this week, the Bull Run may be one of the stronger districts in 2A. Not sure MC can stop Buckingham and vice versa…shaping up like a shootout?
Can’t compare scores… GW looks to be a lot better than they’ve been and the feeder program has a lot of talent so us Danville fans will take it.GW Eagles not what they used to be. Last year they got slaughtered by Magna Vista, who lost to William Byrd 31-7, and Byrd was slaughtered by Liberty Christian. Dinwiddie you are a good team but don’t drink too much Kool- Aid
Thats pretty dope.LOL, I wish more folks from all classes would post. I’ll admit I don’t know as much about the teams away from the greater Richmond area and Tidewater, but I do keep up with who is playing good, and who is not. Other than a few folks in my immediate football group, when I say something about a game, say out in Southwest VA like Chilhowie or Honaker, people look at me like I’ve got three heads.
Bleeding Navy will tell you, he and I will go to a game almost anywhere, and at any Class level, when Dinwiddie is not playing. We have been to several Hopewell games on Dinwiddie’s by week. We went down and saw Magna Vista and Phoebus a few years ago. We have been to Appomattox and Rustburg. I can’t remember all the places. We’ve put a lot of miles on our vehicles over the years chasing good football. And if we both ever retire, we will go even more.
Here is a tip for everyone that loves high school football. Get in somebody’s pick-em pool. You find yourself researching teams so you will know who to pick, and in doing so, you learn a ton.
