Hayfield

While that may have been Hayfield's initial argument, the accounts from the hearing say the judge came prepared knowing the pleadings, facts and rules and the VHSL got hung out to dry because they did not follow their own rules. That is on the VHSL and their lawyers, regardless of whether Hayfield/FCPS broke rules on their own part. What's not fair is adults not doing the jobs they are paid to do and the kids suffering the consequences and that is on BOTH sides.
Agree with everything until the end. Not feeling sorry for known cheaters. You are spot on that the VHSL needs to enforce the rules. The same thing that was happening at Freedom followed to Hayfield. FCPS should be ashamed for allowing it go on.

Hayfield

Crazy they’re allowed to play. The argument that it’s not fair to Hayfield kids is wrong. It’s not fair to the other teams who didn’t cheat.

STICK A FORK IN THEM

I don't like the precedent set here.
What should really get people charged up is the account given in the comment section, if accurate. Appears the only one actually prepared was the judge and Hayfield's attorney was moderately better than the VHSL. While I do not necessarily like the decision, kudos to the judge who it appears came prepared and ready to rule on facts and the law. Pretty much a poor reflection on the VHSL and only slightly better on FCPS. The judge may be the only actual adult that did their job in this mess.

Some assistance please for Louisa County at Midlothian

My favorite restaurant in Richmond is Wood and Iron Gameday Grill on Huguenot Road (behind Chesterfield Town Center). They have two more locations but the one on Huguenot is the closest. I just checked, it’s 5.3 miles from Midlothian High School (but it doesn’t feel that far). Excellent wings, the best fried chicken salad I’ve ever had (huge; comes with 4-5 cut up chicken tenders (get it tossed in Buffalo sauce 10 out of 10), cheese, bacon, tomatoes, mixed greens, very good homemade ranch or bleu cheese), great nachos (pulled pork or grilled chicken), very good burgers, and very good happy hour if that’s your thing. I, 10 out of 10, recommend this place.

that area on Midlothian Turnpike has built up considerably with all sorts of restaurants depending on your taste.
There are many restaurants in Midlothian, Virginia, including steakhouses, seafood restaurants, and other top restaurants:

  • 1870 Restaurant and Bar: A French-inspired steakhouse in a historic building owned by a local family. The menu features creative takes on traditional steakhouse dishes.
Wild Ginger: An Asian restaurant serving sushi.
Bell Greek Authentic Grill: A Greek restaurant.
Uptown Alley: A restaurant serving gourmet pizzas and pastas, plus bowling.
Extra Billy's Brewery and Steam Bell Beer Works: A brewery serving craft beer.
Latitude Seafood Co. Offers fresh fish delivered daily, a large wine list, and a Taco Tuesday special.
The Boathouse Sunday Park: A steakhouse and seafood restaurant with views of Creek Reservoir.
Midlothian Chef's Kitchen: A contemporary restaurant.

Midlothian is a growing town west of Richmond, and many of its restaurants have menus that change depending on the day of the week and what's fresh and in-season.
