Thanks for the additional information. The official did use the word "forfeit". Perhaps he misspoke or else used that term deliberately, and inappropriately, in an attempt to gain control of the situation. What’s the deal with Liberty?
I think the VHSL also has a requirement for space for VIP parking and an area to host all their straphangers and VHSL staffers. A lot of high schools just don't have that type of space or facility.- falcettik

Freedom has too many quick strike options. Although Highland Springs is capable of winning the game, if the Freedom players get into space enough and the Springer defense cannot get to the Freedom QB to rush him I think Freedom pulls away.- falcettik
