    AD fired coach saying he wanted to go in another direction. Coach was disappointed in the decision, did not intend to go anywhere. Jamestown should just cancel football.

    I have a problem with that stat. I know New Jersey which has a very large number of public and private high schools does separate them at playoff time. One public school playoff system and another Private/Parochial playoff system. Not mixed.

    The QB Olesky for Lafayette came over his Junior year. His family moved specifically to get out of Jamestown football, I guess that worked out pretty well. Just have for footballl open enrollment in Williamsburg.

    At Lafayette, some holes on offense but quite a few return, defense again looks top notch. This loss will be huge motivator.

    Yes, approx 3 hours in between is excessive. I would have enjoyed talking to the Phoebus people for sure. I’ll be watching the Phoebus game before and in the bus on NHFS. I remember when the games were 12 noon and 4 pm. That was fine.

    Thanks Phoebus Fan. Can’t disagree with your logic. The defense is the key to a possible win. They have played lights out thru the playoffs and need to for this game. If LCA scores 21+ it will be extremely difficult. Lafayette needs a game with points below 20 imo.

    Phoebus 25 King George 13 FINAL

    I can also add in 2001 when Lafayette won it all we played KG down here in the playoffs and it was a barn burner that we won when KG went for 2 on the late TD snd the win and missed by several inches.
