    Class 3B: Armstrong Wildcats

    Who do you think wins the game on Saturday between Marshall and TJ? I would say Marshall is able to put more points up than TJ. Nice win vs. Campbell on Saturday, but I thought they would be able to move the ball a little more effectively. How do you see it ending up Saturday?

    There were a few mistakes...they'll get sorted out for the next round of them. Also, Manassas Park is ineligible for the playoffs but they have to be included because of the schools that are counting the MP game as a forfeit W. Hate to crack on 3B...because the kids are working hard...

    FINAL Battlefield District Regular Season Standings

    Northwestern district

    Regional Tournament starts 2/16. Top 8 will make that tournament. This year the region tournament is starting 5 days earlier than last year, so that is impacting what some districts do with their district tourney. Battlefield is only doing a Top 4 for their district tournament (2/12 & 2/14)

    Heritage

    What I saw was a Heritage team that was extremely vanilla and basic and didn’t have a 2nd pitch. A very safe, play not to win gameplan. They rode Davis and as phenomenal as he is, you need more to win a state title.

    The key is the health of the TJ running back. If he's healthy, then TJ looks to be the stronger side, but if he's still not 100% with that ankle injury, then Culpeper has a good chance of advancing.

    After watching some of the live stream on Armstrong's twitter page, TJ's field was in bad shape. Also, not enough seating or amenities needed for going forward maybe? Huguenot has a new turf stadium and complex. Probably the best for all involved.

    Spotsy vs Culpeper

    Spotsy has had a tough end to the year, losing 5 out of 6, while Culpeper has won 4 out of 5. Spotsy has had the harder schedule down the stretch though. I give a slight edge to Spotsy, but wouldn't surprise me one bit if Culpeper went in and won.
