    Why does Oregon go for it on 4th down at midfield?? They are winning with little more than 2 minutes and Washington has an outstanding qb in Pennix. Logic tells me to punt and force Washington to go the length of the field. Don’t understand.

    I like it when VT and UVA go elsewhere to find players. I'm a Penn State fan and since Franklin has taken over there are quite a few names on that roster with VA as their home state. Penn State has become good once again in recent years with annual top 10 rankings. Hahahahha

    All of them led their team to a Super Bowl and were very successful QB's. However, they all grew up in western Pennsylvania and none of them went to Penn State. I always felt that Paterno had a hard time getting QB's. When he did, like in Collins and Blackledge, they were very dangerous.

    Remember O'Brien inherited a mess with the Sandusky scandal. But Penn State was on the decline in Paterno's later years. Glad he chose Penn State. I'm a PSU fan! What do Joe Montana, Jim Kelley, Jeff Hostetler and Dan Marino all have in common? Add Joe Namath to the group also.
