    King George QB and WR #2 are very good. Watching online it didn’t appear that KG defense was so good, but more the EV offense doesn’t present much of a threat.

    Definitely tougher to assess a lot of teams this year. I hear that a lot of rosters are down 10-15 players. Some starters for teams chose not to play.

    I wouldn’t say JM blew it. They never really looked that good. EV offense couldn’t move the ball but made a couple plays when they had to late. On tv the field looked pretty bad. Lots of slipping and sliding.

    EV loses a lot every year. It doesn't appear as if they have 2 or 3 dominate offensive players like they usually do at the moment. Time will tell.

    My guess is that Culp/Orange will always be there. Louisa is the obvious addition for both schools.

    This is true...but EV has performed better against top-notch playoff teams over the past few years than at any other time even with a perceived "soft" regular season schedule.

    EVERY team has cupcakes on their schedule...including Salem, etc... Generally the Battlefield is a tough schedule with the likes of Courtland/James Monroe/Chancellor. I use to be in the crowd that said you need to have a tough out-of-district schedule, but I no longer subscribe to that theory...

    I would disagree with that, but that's ok. Henrico also had a 14-7 game with PH-Ash. They would be competitive but I don't see them dominating anyone. Varina is better on a more consistent basis.
