I believe it is Dec 18 at Darling Stadium in Hampton. I posted on the 3A thread a few weeks ago to inquire about the rosters, but have not been able to find it
Where and when is the All-Star game this year? Are they moving everything away from LU?
Has nothing to do with PC nor the VHSL nor the facilities at LU-which are state of the art and top notch. Clinic was poorly attended in Lynchburg-which the group which put together the package to get it there to begin with had hoped to avoid. Attendance won't increase significantly in Hampton either IMO. Clinic is dying for a number of reasons-which have been discussed on here ad infinitum. And to me, that's a shame.
Don't think so.With all them All Star games going on, can we actually say either of the games are getting the best athletes?
I know from Richlands, Cody Howie, Landon Lowe, and John-Luke Asbury are headed to Hampton. With all them All Star games going on, can we actually say either of the games are getting the best athletes?

I think it's good for the seniors who may never get to play again. Send the all-state type guys to Hampton and then let the other deserving seniors play in their local-ish ones so they have one more chance to strap the pads on and maybe one more chance for a D-III school to offer them a spot.Personally I think there are now too many All Star games.
I agree with @Ryan4VT. Each and every team has some headline players, and players that are really good but not great. A chance for these next tier athletes to get a glimpse from any program is well worth it. In addition, there is always a diamond in the rough scenario. A good player that maybe playing on a team that struggled during the season.I think it's good for the seniors who may never get to play again. Wow? that is a surprise pick. Glad he getting to play one more time his senior year.Rahim Holman from Buckingham were selected I think for the Hampton game.
Appo's Xavier Morgan, Delonta Kelso and Phillip Fleshman and Coach Smith will be in the VHSL All-Star game over the weekend.I know from Richlands, Cody Howie, Landon Lowe, and John-Luke Asbury are headed to Hampton.
Kaleb Begley, De'Quan Booker, Matt Harris, and Dillan Elswick are all playing in the FCA East-West game in Bristol. Collins was supposed to be in that, too. But he played the last 2 months of the season with a groin injury so he's gonna sit it out to heal.
Amherst was the wrong place for the Spencer kid. That kid has speed, size, and had amazing hands. He would be an amazing full back in a I form set up. would have loved to see him play in Dan River's offense.Three from Amherst, Running Back Jerry Page, Wide Receiver /Outside Linebacker Derrick Spencer, and Center Lee Hamilton
Easy to say but VHSL is probably just as liberal as anyone in Northern Va. I don't see it ever coming back to LU as I was very surprised to see it come there the first time.VHSL should not cave in to political correctness. Put all games back to best venue in the state. Liberty University.
Great Speed for his size, I mean he is close to 250 lbs. and runs just as fast as some of the running backs, and I would say he has good hands, not great, a few drops her and there. He seemed to always find himself in a place to make that huge play for Amherst, whether it be Brookville two years ago or Salem/Rustburg this year, he made the difference in those games. I feel like in Amherst's offense he just fit better as a Wide out, he even took a couple direct snaps against Appo, I think in college you will see him as a fullback/blocking back kind of guy, just was not in Amherst's offense.Amherst was the wrong place for the Spencer kid. His mother is a Appomattox native so I kept up with this kid throughout the years. I didnt go to the games so I only seen the catches on the highlights and news. I wouldnt know if he dropped any or not unless he did it in an Appo game.Great Speed for his size, I mean he is close to 250 lbs. and runs just as fast as some of the running backs, and I would say he has good hands, not great, a few drops her and there. It was good to see Bluestone make playoffs for 1st time in school history. Hope they continue in winning ways.I don't know how players are selected, but Tevarius Brooks from Bluestone should have been on some roster as a QB.
Derrick Spencer, Jerry Page and Lee Hamilton from Amherst arrived in Hampton for the All star game on SundayI know from Richlands, Cody Howie, Landon Lowe, and John-Luke Asbury are headed to Hampton.
