1. Louisa County
Returns Poindexter, Steppe, Bell, and a strong nucleus of bench players and players that will move up from JV. They have notched 12 wins in each of the lat two seasons, but this should be the breakthrough year for the Lions, especially because the likes of Austin Katstra and Ryan Ingram are out of the district.

2. Charlottesville
They lose 4 starters (3 to graduation, 1 transfer to Albemarle) but they should be back in full force next season. Sam Neale returns to handle the team, and his scoring average should go way up. Lots of important bench players return, and players from an undefeated JV squad like Zymir Faulkner and Jake Bowling are poised to start their paths to a very promising varsity career at Charlottesville.

3. Western Albemarle
Losing all time leading scorer Ryan Ingram (20 ppg) and two other starters in Josh Coffman and Austin Cress, but Western is always ready to reload. Chris McGahren, who only averaged 10 ppg after an injury riddled season, will be back to lead the team, and Teo Rampini and Jed Strickland will also be back, plus some promising rising sophomores like 6'4 Garrett Payne.

4. Albemarle
Only losing three seniors, but two of them are Austin Katstra (21 ppg, 10 rpg) and Jake Hahn (Hampton-Sydney). Albemarle does return the entire starting back-court with J'Quan Anderson, Cartier Key and Na'ail Arnold, and will get transfer Immanuel Wells from Cville, but the loss of their two bigs will be hard to overcome.

Bottom 4:
5. Monticello
6. Orange County
7. Powhatan
8. Fluvanna County
