For those going to Hampton, there is an Embassy Suites at the Colessium / Convention Center.

For those looking for a local hot spot to eat, Tommy's Diner on Mercury Blvd is a routine favorite ritual of mine. It's always packed, accepts cash only like a good Diner should and closes at 3 pm. So, plan ahead accordingly.

County Grill off Mercury is awesome.

If Country Grill open later than 3, that could be a good option. I'll research it a bit. Are there can't miss meal options? I enjoy Tommy's Grilled Tuna Sandwich & their Fried Chicken is better than most anything we have on the Southside!

Pollard's chicken strips are the bomb but somehow the fried chicken is good but not a can't miss type of meal for my family.
