How about Clarke County (3-3) vs Strasburg (5-1)

Both have one common opponent - Warren County

Clarke beat Warren 31-29
Strasburg beat Warren 22-21 in OT

2nd choice would be Riverheads (5-1) vs Luray (5-1) - this game is in Luray, which might make it more interesting....despite Luray's loss to Lee last week, still a prime game.

Your choice.....

I say Strasburg vs Clarke. That is going to be a dog fight.
I'm not convinced of a dog fight. Strasburg beat Warren County (0-6) in OT. They beat Rappahannock (1-6), Jackson (0-7), Skyline (2-5), and Mason (3-3). Only loss was to Luray (5-1). None of those teams they beat have historically been that good. But, any given Friday...

I'm assuming you're talking about opponents already played, because we both also play Madison, Central, and Mason.

Looks like it ended up being a dog fight after all! :)

Yep, it sure was! My heart needs a rest, that's for sure. When Baylor is out, Defenses only have to key on Rutherford, and that showed last night and last week against Central. Baylor keeps them honest! Our boys lost composure there for a bit, pass interference, then an unsportsmanlike, then another holding call. I see Madison County made a game of it with Central last night as well. Next week we play each other. I'll say it now, DOGFIGHT!!:D Hope to meet up with Marshall Dillon this time too.

It was a good football game. I felt for the boys of Strasburg. They were playing that game with heavy hearts. One of their classmates was involved in a car accident Thursday night. He passed away around noon on Friday.

Yeah, I heard that some kid died from Strasburg, but didn't know the details. I'm sorry to hear that. It kills me when a parent has to bury their child. I wish that on no one.

Yes it is a bad thing. Not a excuse. Just didn't make enough plays to win. I admire the fight they had in them last night. I was worried it was gonna be a blowout with the kids thinking about that

That is really heartbreaking to hear - such a small community where everyone probably knows everyone....my thoughts and prayers to the entire community of Strasburg for such a tragedy.
