Has anyone done the math to see if Abingdon/Bassett/Christiansburg can switch up these last two weeks? I know Bassett has a bye this week and play Magna Vista next week. Not sure if the bye helps or hurts us

The points are just averages so having a week off doesn't help or hurt anyone. There will still be rider points that could change the pt averages for a team with the week off. (your previous opponents winning will help a little) The teams you are in competition with could move in front or move behind you since they are still playing. Overall though, it's just total points earned divided by number of games played. I haven't looked at the 3D points so IDK how things are likely going to turn out.

I took a look at the points and they are way too close to make any predictions on who will end up 5-7 among those 3 teams. They are all separated by less than 3 pts if you factor in the fact that Bassett has played an extra game at this point. It's definitely going to the wire.

It looks like the top 4 right now will finish in the top 4. (Order could change, but they won't drop out of the top 4) It looks like 5-7 can only finish in 5th through 7th. (Order could change, but they can't finish in the top 4 and they won't drop to 8) It looks like William Byrd will be 8. (I don't see anyone taking that spot from below and I don't see them moving up either) These are just my observations, no guarantees.

Yeah I know the fight for that 5th seed is way to close for comfort. Would be cool to earn it though. Would likely mean a Bassett/MV matchup in back to back weeks
