Who's the 'Big Dogs" of 4a? Halifax made it to States about every year, but usually fell in the Semifinals (The Exception is the baseball team's 14 inning State Championship heartbreaker against Briar Woods in 2017). We've put up better teams before, but the youth programs for the sports are unlike any other in Virginia. It's the training facilities that causes the teams to pass us come States. I wouldn't imagine that the talent gap from 5a to 4a is hardly visible, however.
