FLS Varsity has it with Courtland at 1 and Hanover at 2.1. Hanover
2. Courtland
3. Monacan
4. Eastern View
5. Chancellor
6. Dinwiddie
7. Louisa
8. King George?
This is what they have.I think that's wrong because they are saying chancellor is the 4 seed and EV the 5 which I think is flipped
I must misread it but they have chancellor 4 EV 5This is what they have.
4A-E, 19-20 pod: 1. Courtland, 2. Hanover, 3. Monacan, 4. Eastern View, 5. Chancellor, 6. Dinwiddie, 7. Louisa, 8. King George.
I'm tired of hearing this play who you play garbage. We do like to know other matchups and who is playing who so those of you saying that should look at the bigger picture and be a real high school football fan outside your own team!!Here's the way that I look at it: You play who they tell you to play. No sense worrying about it.

Have to agree. I could care less who the boys play or what their seeding is. You have another game. Win it.Opinions vary.
How did you have chancellor ahead of EV the games played out exactly as predicted. EV should be 1 point ahead of ChancellorI was very tired last night after our game...Here is what I have
Pod 17-18
1 LT 31.8
2 Lafayette 29.6
3 Grafton 25.1
4 KF 25
5 Smithfield 23.4
6 Denbigh 22.77
7 Churchland 22.1
8 Heritage 21.77
Wilson 19.7
DC 21.6
GB 19.2
Jamestown 16.55
There are four games to be played today that will impact Lafayette, Grafton, Smithfield, Denbigh, and Heritage. Looks like the bracket will be:
1. LT vs. 8. Deep Creek if Heritage loses..Denbigh if Heritage wins
4. Kings Fork vs. 5. Smithfield
2. Lafayette vs. 7. Churchland
3. Grafton vs. 6. Denbigh/Heritage winner
Pod 19-20
1 Courtland 29.5
2 Hanover 29.5
3 Monacan 28.6
4 Chancellor 28.2

7 Louisa 25.8
8 King George 22.6
Powhatan 20.2
Midlothian 19.9
Huguenot 19.7
Caroline 16.2
So....
1. Courtland vs. 8 King George

2. Hanover vs. 7. Louisa
3. Monacan vs. 6. Dinwiddie

That makes sense.. last time he had more point for spotsy win giving both 4a win and bonus points.. they are 3a....He may have given both Courtland and Chancellor two extra bonus points I have:
1 Hanover 29.5
2 Courtland 29.3
3 Monacan 28.6
4 Eastern View 28.1
5 Chancellor 28.0
6 Dinwiddie 27.1
7 Louisa 25.8
8 King George 22.6
That makes sense.. last time he had more point for spotsy win giving both 4a win and bonus points.. they are 3a....
Did that change the order of 1&2 in 19-20 PodI corrected them in the original post.
Did that change the order of 1&2 in 19-20 Pod
The system is sound, but its a shame we aren't going to find out who really is the two best teams in this pod. fredericksburg area will eliminate each other and Richmond area the same (not discounting Louisa) just saying..... That's the system we have, so lets play it out. Maybe next year we will see some more balance. Good luck to all the teams.
The top of the old bracket is nasty! Everyone would have to play damn near perfect ball to survive. It is what it is.Since I came down I have been against the pods...I really liked 1-16 as it allowed the two best teams to be left:
Just for kicks last years system would have yielded:
1 LT 31.8 vs. 16 Heritage 21.77
8 Dinwiddie 27.1 vs. 9 Louisa 25.8
4 Hanover 29.5 vs. 13 Denbigh 22.77
5 Monacan 28.6 vs. 12 Smithfield 23.4
2 Lafayette 29.6 vs. 15 Churchland 22.1
7 Chancellor 28 vs. 10 Grafton 25.1
6 Eastern View 28.1 vs. 11 KF 25
3 Courtland 29.5 vs. 14 King George 22.6
Still in the hunt Deep Creek 21.6
I would like to thank the AD's whoever came up with the pods..Playing Dinwiddie/Louisa winner round 2 then Monacan/Hanover winner a week later would have been a tough task for any team...The top half would have been brutal like it was last year for us, but I think this would have yielded the best results and the best teams playing
Round 2
LT vs. Dinwiddie or Louisa
Hanover vs. Monacan
Lafayette vs. Chancellor
Courtland vs. Eastern View
Those are all solid 2nd round games instead we are going to be stuck with:
LT vs. Smithfield or KF
Lafayette vs. Grafton
Hanover vs. Monacan/Dinwiddie
Courtland vs. Chancellor/Eastern View
