4A Regional Tournament Date Changes

Our Athletic Director just sent out the following announcement.


With many in Southwest and Central Virginia still out of school from the snow this week, many conferences are going to be unable to finish their tournament by Saturday, as mandated by the VHSL. So, the Region 4A Basketball Directors have pushed back the start of the Region Tournament until Thursday 2/26 to allow those conferences to finish their playoffs (or even begin them, in one case). The region schedule is now:
Quarterfinals: Thursday 2/26, Semifinals: Saturday 2/28, and Finals: Tuesday 3/3.
The State Tournament (for 4A) will be Thursday 3/12 and Saturday 3/14

Date change again due to weather. I'm not sure this applies to 4A South, but it at least applies to 4A North. My understanding is the Conference 24 tournament hasn't even started yet and they are out of school again today.

Quarterfinals on Saturday 2/28, Semi Finals on Tuesday 3/3, and Finals on Thursday 3/5.
