Made a trip to the jungle for the first time in many years and it still has that jungle feel. I sat on the Albemarle side and had great view of the game. Louisa is for real and is a very physical team. I look for this Louisa team to make some noise going into the playoffs they definitely can go 10-0.

41-13 final. Louisa looked pretty good. Albemarle returned the opening kickoff to Louisa's 30, but Louisa set the tone by stopping them near the goalline on 4th down. Then they drove 96 yards down the field to score. It was all Lions from there.

How was the offense of numbers for Louisa

Louisa had to have 200 yards rushing in the first half easily. They were even going for 2pt conversions over kicking. They pushed the patriots off the line of scrimmage almost every snap

We also would've had over 100 yards passing easily if #21 didn't drop everything. I have a feeling he'll come up clutch when we really need him.

I love watching Fischer's o. lines. They do always noticeably improve week to week. They're really starting to get the new blocking schemes down and it's fun to see. Malik Bell is also making better decisions on option plays and reading the field better passing. Having better pass blocking helps, of course. Love to see the young pups develop.

Correction, Louisa had 397 yards of offense according to the FLS. Bell rushed for 161 yards and 2 TDs, Whalen rushed for 136 and 2 TDs.

Speaking of the offensive line, it's great to see all the shout-outs to them from our runners in this story: http://www.dailyprogress.com/cville...cle_823587f0-8201-11e6-aad6-d311711f5e78.html

And the highlights:

@OCBoy what did you think of Bell, Whalen, and our new announcer?
Both were pure athletes... The announcer is a lot better than the last one. Glad to see Louisa is back

Check this out. The father of Louisa's 6' 5" soph MLB Brandon Smith just sent me this. Smith is #12 and the PAT was blocked. For reference, Albemarle's center is 6' 3". Click on the pic to zoom in. Damn!
