The lack of response might be telling.. the system needs to be fixed. Here is what I would suggest. Each coach send their selected players to each team/coach that includes their season 3 minute HL. Defensive stats can be deceiving. OL and DL players are often missed. Let the coaches have the chance to make the right decision. If we can't do it right, let's just not do it. IMO
