Amelia and Nottoway game?

Don't know any details but Nottoway won 14-12.

Amelia came to play, but Nottoway tried to give game away several times. Nottoway must've had 15 penalties, a fumble going into Amelia end zone, a lost muffled punt on their own 15, a bad punt snap deep in own zone, and at least one other fumble. Starting rb Lawson didn't dress, fb/db Gilliam didn't play till fourth quarter, ol/dl stalwart Edmonds did not play, other running back Parrish had big game statistically but was hobbled all night and didn't play much defense, and starting db Rawlings did not play. Not sure if all these were injuries or groundings, but they need to get right before Clarke next weekend!

As I recall Amelia had just as many woes as Nottaway.I think it's the other way around in giving the chance to win. Fourteen points scored in first half and none in second. Three red zone stops in second half for Amelia (best defense they played all year) showed they had chances. But, game over. Refocus and show Clark conference 34 isn't a cake walk. Go Cougars
