Amelia- Poquoson game moves to Monticello HS

7 PM Friday in Charlottesville due to wet fields. That’s a lot further west for Poquoson now. From Poquoson it is now well over 2 hours. They couldn’t get a turf field in Richmond area??? Of course the Poquoson field is turf but let’s not play there.

It does seem kind of crazy that Charlottesville was the best they could do....

I suspect that a team would only move the game if it benefited them competitively. If you are fast, you likely don't want to play in a swamp. But if you are a 3 yards and a cloud of dust(or mud) type of team then you likely wouldn't want to move your game.

Odd choice. Good for me since it's closer to where I live. I'll have to consider going. I know little about Amelia's team and would like to see them play.
