Will this be a repeat of some fans trying to get to our train horn again? Also there has been A LOT of chatter around work and via social media that our opponent is thinking of playing dirty to try to pick fights to get some ejections in their favor so they can try to pull out win number 1 in 22 tries. GOOD LUCK GILES, beat Glenvar.

Man. And here I thought Wilson a Memorial and Riverheads didn't like each other lol

My goodness, somebody protect the train horn. And playing dirty and picking fights! Goodness gracious, how appalling. Why would one have such expectations? I'd hire we some special forces people, pay them big money, like minimum wage or something. The military doesn't pay our soldiers very much under the present ruler, so they need some extra money, and they would have heavy weaponry to protect that horn. And as far as dirty play, I would just ask for a meeting with the officials before the game, and let them know the other team is made up of a bunch of cheating, dirty playing, non-church goers, and they need to be supervised appropriately. That should handle it.

Haha like that documentary on that Memphis football team. The entire polica squad was on the sidelines and they wouldn't let the teams shake hands.

"Undefeated" (I had to look it up).

Why should anyone be surprised that this dumb a $$ would make a comment like that to someone's post. Been same thing all year. All blue balls wants for Christmas is a Giles lose. Get a life cry baby. Guy simply stated what he heard at work.

I just hope Glenvar fans do not bring those annoying jugs filled with gravel. If that's the best they can do to cheer their team they should sit in stands and remain silent.

Seems to me a lot of people don`t like RED teams that smack them in the mouth !
GO BIG RED !

all noise makers should be banned from high school football games. nothing worse than having someone sit down behind you with an airhorn or any other noisemaker. i think the reason people bring noise makers to games is to see how many people they can annoy. all football fields should put up bleachers in one endzone and make people with noisemakers sit togeather so they can annoy each other.

I agree.

There was a woman behind me at Giles Saturday with a cow bell, ringing it in my ear all game. The worse thing was she did not know when to actually make noise. i.e. a touchdown or key 3rd down stop. She rang it just to be ringing it.

Other than keys to VT games, I never bring noise-makers. However, I got hold of a cowbell starting second half of the Giles-Brunswick game and Brunswick fumbled the kickoff return, so I rang the ENTIRE second half. I rang the little inside thing that makes noise out of it haha.

"Only posting what he heard at work"...

And had to run to his computer and post it on a message board?!? I doubt it was at work...maybe in grade school. Giles is good but some of you folks have terribly thin skin.

Good thing he didn't hear that the sky was falling...

No thin skin here, trust me on that. Just a problem with blue balls having a negative response to everyone on this board and usually a Giles fan. He don't even talk football. Just looking to see he can bash next.

At the last Glenvar game a few weeks back, a couple of 18-22 young men came over and messed with the horn....they were caught....lied and said they were from Radford....Police escorted them out and that was that....as far as dirty play....they better do something different because the last time didn't work....I expect a clean game and a defensive game....GO GILES

I have always hated rematches. This should be a much closer game. We may have to get creative at times. You cant pound it every time. Glenvar played pretty good defense. They contained most of the big play potential but gave up 6-8 yards a play by doing that. I love playoffs. Everybody have a good Thanksgiving.
