Appo has some outstanding players on their squad. No doubt. It means everything at this level. It means State Championship potential.
But a new QB and 10 incoming Freshmen to fill the voids? Not gonna' happen. Depends on what everyone else brings to the table but it seems just as Appo came from nowhere last year, they will probably fade back to normal this year.

that had to be a Type-O. there is not a freshman holding a starting position on this team. i dont know where reporter got that from.
That QB is not to be slept on. he played behind Matt Page last season and he hoes to all the camps (qb) since his freshman year. He gonna be a good QB. Now will he be able to audible at line, feel the pocket, have patience, and see field as Matt did? We will see... he is faster than Matt and can get to outside faster. He has great football IQ. I think he will go to college for D not for QB. It scaring me he playing both sides of field though.
Hope you're right that the reporter was wrong. Means a great deal to the season. But gotta' own up on a new QB. DI wide receivers mean nothing without someone that can get them the ball and Appo depends on this. Plus the defense, which was exceptional. How many did they lose there?
i dont think, I know. i watch the film, talk to coaches, rub elbows with players, go to practices. I know we dont have any freshman starting on that team.
Javon Scruggs gonna be that qb that gonna hit the slants and flats for BIG GAINS! Plus he nice on his feet too. If its not there he can take off. He is behind the same line that been there 2 years! yes! they started as Sophomores and freshman. they are all seniors and juniors now. we only lost one last year on OL. He is being replaced with quality players that knows the O. no reason for our QB not to have time in pocket. Plus we should be able to run great this year.
D is gonna be just as good as last year or maybe better? the ones we loss have been replaced.
