Appomattox-Richlands

Game officials are interesting, a lot of missed or not called DB holding the WRs and missed holding on the DEs. What might be the worst is that there is no play clock and I've been timing off the official from my phones stop watch and it's continually 26-29 seconds. The hard hit fumbles and INT must be the football gods trying to even it out on the field.

The officials did not have good game. Numerous missed calls. But they did call my favorite. A block in back 30 yards from ball. Then they missed a block in back 5 yards from ball and 5 yards right in front of ref.

Hats off to both teams. This game was everything a fan could ask of a playoff game between two great teams! We all knew Richlands O was strong and Appo D was strong but the Richlands D impressed me. They kept the Appomattox play makers in check for most of the game! #27 for Richlands was all over the field and delivered some crushing blows! Again, congrats to Richlands for a great game and season. You guys have an all around great program. Great fans too! Without a doubt the Blue Tornadoes are my favorite program from SWVA. Much respect for you guys. @RichlandsRyan @stormwatcher @Bigrhsfan

Because Richlands defense I thought were on the same level as ours and we held them in check for 4 quarters. And after going down by 2 scores so late I was surprised they were able to do it as successful through the air that's all.

Richlands should have put a blanket over Henderson in 4th quarter. They let him get open too much.
Wouldnt have mattered, we have WRs. Appomattox is a team that u cant focus on ONE player cause the one u least expect gonna punish you. Hey HR6? How many other WRs got ball in 4th? Exactly...

I will say this, Richlands D did surprise me. Great showing. #11 needs to take opponents head on instead of waiting until they pass him to catch them. He was in position to make a play several times, but he let them pass by him to catch up later. Great WR, good on D unless he can change that about his game. His speed and Appo's #10 seems to be same speed by seeing them on field together. Both are phenomenal athletes.
