Just curious here... I try to make a 1A/2A game every week in the new river valley/roanoke valley. I don't really have a team so I bounce around, I just like good football. I have watched the Radford/Galax game and the Radford/GW and Glenvar/Cave Spring game to this point... I have seen some good players in those games. Finley and Grant are impressive, Steegall from Glenver was impressive to watch, Galax Harris and Spurlin were tough, GW had athletes but noone truly stood out against Radford. The Cave Spring Qb (not sure his name) will be a name we'll hear a lot from in the future if he's just a freshman and can throw like he did last night. So my question is who is the best out of those guys and who do I need to put on my list to see that I haven't seen yet?

I'd love to catch a Union game. I would have loved to see them vs. Richlands. What position does he play?

Stigall best receiver in Timesland

Zack Deck one of the best overall players in RV and NR Valley....even though most people don't know about him because he is not a skill player. He was a big reason Glenvar beats CS 28-6 last night. Stanley has been hobbled with injuries and hasn't shown his true potential yet but based on last year he is also very good.

Intrinsicrewards...I was impressed with quite a few Glenvar players, good running back. QB missed a few open receivers but looked like a good player. They have a good line as well. Stigall might be the best receiver but my early nod as best athlete goes to Finley.

TRD Is loaded with athletes. I guarantee you, if TRD had an allstar team they would beat any conference/district in the state of VA.

Looking forward to seeing finley play...he was hurt much of last year And didnt see it..just heard abt him...also...one of the best players i have seen play so far this year is harris from galax...he is a beast.

Anderson and Rosenbaum on GW defense. Grubb at Pulaski. Grant and Finely at Radford. Clifford, Manns and Stegal from Glenvar.

Austin Atkinson #3 from Richlands. I stated before the season started that i thought this was gonna be a big year for him. So far he hasnt proved me wrong. 4 picks with 2 of them going for TDs. At least 2 TD catches on offense. Very good CB and very fast. And if im not mistaken this is only his 2nd yr of football.

I gotta say Finley or Grant from Radford they really set Radford apart not to say they are all the cats have but they would be an asset to any team.

I certainly haven't saw many of the players mentioned on this post but i would say my pick would be Elliott Brewster, wr/ss from Pulaski Co. 6'2" 210 and out of all the names mentioned he is the most likely to receive a Div 1 scholarship offer.
