I can't believe VT or UVa haven't offered this kid. He's a beast, violent at the point of the attack. Engages blockers well with extended arms. He's got the tools, I can't figure out how he doesn't have more offers.

I agree, Atkins is a beast! HV also has Harris who is almost as good and a very hard-nosed and quick Dermot at DB. It will be interesting to see how they match up against Salem in a few weeks.

Jackson is a somphmore, but agree he will probably be a high recruit.

A lot of very good players in Roanoke at Northside and Hidden Valley. I have Caleb Ashworth from Tunstall (who has signed with Cincinatti) and Tre Redd from Magna Vista. Ashworth plays linebacker and is also one heck of a defensive end. Redd is a playmaker on defense and he will run you DOWN!! Very talented athletes in our area.
