The annual Best of the 757 Baseball combine was held at Virginia Wesleyan College with participants from all across the Commonwealth of Virginia. The following players stood out and took home awards
King's Fork Tristen Deguzman was selected the overall Top Performer for his hitting, pitching and base running.
Salem's Zachary Baber was the top hitter with multiple hits and an RBI in both showcase games. Marvin Pryor, a senior from Menchville High School, was selected the top outfielder while Nicholas Lees from Nansemond River was the top infielder for his skillset at both second base and shortstop.
Maggie Walkers Governor's School Matthew Pinson made the drive from Richmond and he took home the top pitcher award. Cox senior Garrett Hunter was chosen the top catcher.
