Unbeatens K&Q at Middlesex. Who would've thought these two teams who won a combined 3 games last season (and two of those were Middlesex wins over K&Q!) would be 4-0 this season, although both playing vastly different schedules. K&Q is 4-0 for first time since 2001 and Middlesex is 4-0 for the first time since 1993.
Washington & Lee (2-1) at Class 2 King William (4-0). Probably the game most people in the NND will be looking for updates on Friday night. W&L likes to run the ball while King William is getting big production from some young players.
Colonial Beach (2-1) at unbeaten and 3-time Class 1 state champ Riverheads. The Gladiators beat W&L 49-15 in the season's initial week. Can CB keep it closer than W&L?
Other games:
Rappahannock at Mathews
Northumberland at Bruton
West Point at Northampton
Lancaster at Nandua
Essex at Charles City

I think King and queen wins big over Middlesex. Their win over Portsmouth Christian impresses me the most of any of the other 7 combined wins. Middlesex over Lancaster would be second.

W&L and King William will be very interesting. I'm sure many will be looking at it to see where W&L might stack up against Essex. Especially after this past weeks game.

Riverheads big over CB.

Rapp, Northumberland, West point, nandua, Essex all win without trouble. Could see some big numbers in some of those games. I'd say the only one that won't end in a running clock will be Lancaster at nandua.

District play is right around the corner!

Unless W&L blows KW out like they did Rapp, I don’t think you’ll get a good reading on how W&L stacks up to Essex. Essex played right with KW the other week. Those 5 turnovers and a pick 6 called back doomed Essex In that game. Should be a great game.

I concur with you and the OP. The games listed in OP's "other games" are not going to tell us much and should be an opportunity to build stats and get a lot of playing time for substitutions.
