Bitter about LCA in VHSL

Im tied of the lies!!! They supposed to be a Christian school and they calling our athletes in appo to poach??! That 15-0 got them all over Appomattox county trying to get our boys. What I remember from the article in News & Advance(5 months ago), the A.D. cried the blues that he "didnt recruit." Well....Im a man of God (u no better than me) and i am calling him a liar!!! I know for a fact they been calling Sophomore Devon Graves. He was starting CB as 9th and last yr. He was a starting #2 WR last season. He probably fastest kid on team. As per coach smith, he was gonna be tried out at QB this season (he has background, middle school). Im mad!!! I knew this private school stuff coming to VHSL was gonna affect public school. Thankfully, graves said he good in appo and he not going no where. He all about defending our title! If he is QB, its gonna be nasty on defenses. Matt Page was good but Devon is great with his feat. He has a stronger arm, but Page was accurate! He will have a good test by competing with sophomore Javon Scruggs (backup qb last yr). Plus RB mixing in many wildcats next year gonna be NICE! Phillip got a nice arm too! Graves benches like 250-265 as a sophomore. Kid is the real deal and i see D1 knocking soon.

Seems like this would be a pretty simple fix. IF they are actively recruiting kids from your school, contact the VHSL and provide proof. IF the VHSL is serious about not allowing it, then they will verify it and then punish LCA. If they aren't, they won't.

I had them come to one of my youth group members wanting him to play soccer (he went). They told him they had to get a "sponsor " so he could get his tuition paid for. He been there for 3 years. They shady with it.

You actually think VHSL wants to brawl with LCA again? Why u think VHSL going broke this year? That court case set em back.

Another thing, they got a QB (first name is Grant, dont know last name) we played in youth league (he played for Concord Indians). I heard he reclassed this year so he will be starting again next year. If this is true, how are they getting away with this stuff? We cant reclass our players at public schools. I hope this is just a rumor.

No one, this is why I have always been against them. I saw a letter years ago to an Amherst player that is why I said they recruit

Im all about the notion that you (parents) want to keep ya kids out of public schools? Well then, keep your kids private playing sports as well. Do you and let us do us!
