Bland Co. Played Eastern Montgomery Friday night and won 40-0. I dont think Bland showed much offensively as the young sophomore QB ran sparingly and threw even less (2 attempts). The defense took a step forward during the game as the linebacker play was significantly improved from RR and Northwood. Still some issues though as EM had some receivers open down field but couldn't connect. Bland has Montcalm this Friday before a date with Narrows. I think we'll have a better idea where this team stands after that game. Hopefully Bland can get a W this Friday and head into the Narrows week without any additional injuries. Could be a big game in two weeks with Narrows coming in at 5-1 and Bland potentially coming in 5-1. Would be great for both programs. It's been a while since both teams have come in with quality records.
