Boo Williams' 17 & Elite AAU squad defeated The Family from Detroit 67-62 in their opener of the EYBL Finals/NIKE Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina.

Boo's team rallied from a 15-point half-time deficit for the win and did so without the services of five-star forward and North Carolina commit James McAdoo as well as Justin Anderson.

Maury rising senior guard Sim Frazier and Phoebus rising sophomore Troy Williams, Boo's nephew, made clutch plays down the stretch in the win.
