Radford led 16-15 after 1. Jones killed them inside early. Mounties playing hard and fast and have hit some big 3s to lead 31-29 at the break.

• I remember about 2012 or 13 Radford had beaten Glenvar 3-4 times in regular season and tournaments and then Glenvar finally beat them. Can't remember if it ended Radfords season or just sent them to southwest VA to get back into it. All it takes is a bad night to end your season going forward.

And this goes back a looooooooooooong way but back in the early 70s Jefferson Senior out of Roanoke was nationally ranked - led by All American 6'8 Mike Franklin - they had beaten R E Lee 3 times during the regular season/district tournament - but Lee got revenge in the regional tournament in Charlottesville on their way to the state finals, where they ran into Maggie Walker.
