Wow! Didn't see that coming. Looks like Marshall has 3-5 big time players every year but they come up short. What's going on over there off Chamberlayne Ave?

From my people in the 804, they've been saying JM has enough talent to make a run but for whatever reason they weren't consistent with it this year. I saw Northside and Price/Wooden were the two standouts so my thinking was Jones and Price will battle and probably cancel out so the difference would be Wooden vs Anderson/Todd. I personally though the combo of JM big men would give Wooden fits and would be the difference. Wooden put up 19 to 14,13 for his counterparts. Price outplayed Jones comparatively which ended up being the difference IMO. I was almost right as the other 3 East teams took care of their West opponents. Phoebus has to be the favorite at this point. Good Luck to all teams remaining!

JM got out coached yesterday, not a slight on JM because Pope, from Northside, is one of the best coaches in the state.
