Some people simply do not understand the very simple 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, etc. concept. Instead of realizing that each step is pre-determined, they seem to think that after one round, you are supposed to re-bracket them and have the new highest seed take on the new lowest seed.

I think this same source had Waynesboro playing Magna Vista in 3-A, whereas everybody knows that they are playing Broadway.

Yeah, some regions used to do the NFL-style playoff matchups where the highest & lowest seed are always matched up. No longer. Only variations between regions are the folks in Richmond/757 in 5A/6A separate their playoff brackets until the regional final/state semi. Some regions crossbracket their semifinalists. Most do not.
