So I watched the first half... At least most of it...
In my opinion... And I know its early...
James Monroe is not the team it was as of late... Most Jayem teams have playmakers on each side of the ball,and in most cases, more than a few places... Not this team...
They just didn't have that explosive power all over the field like they usually do... They were scrappy... But I think this may be the most down year for them in the last 10 years...
Brookville is a little bigger than they normally are, but too many balls dropped after hitting hands... The Bees normally have 1 outstanding WR and 3-4 really good ones... This year, no outstanding WR and maybe only 1 or 2 good ones...
If I had to guess, both of these teams are looking like 1st or 2nd round playoff departures... I think Bville will be 7-3 and Jayem maybe 5-5 or 6-4...
Neither is a threat for a state title...
As for the game, when I left it was 24-14 Bees...There was just nothing that jumped out at you about either of these two teams...
